Oko Davaasuren is a global entrepreneur from Mongolia. He had lived in the United States for 10 years where he finished his bachelors degree in Finance from Portland State University. He then started his masters degree in Engineering Technology Management but decided to concentrate on his projects. He now can be found living between Utrecht, Netherlands and Mongolia.
Oko is a goal-orientated manager and entrepreneur. Enthusiastic leader with proven ability to develop and implement business development, to establish sales, marketing and PR strategies, to acquire new customers and retain existing accounts.

Gerel O

Gerel is a multi-skilled professional with four years of experience in working as digital savvy Public Relations professional across technology, banking and entertainment sectors. She worked for a number of PR firms in the UK, serving clients such as Symantec, Virgin Business as well as tech and web startup companies such as We7.com, Yell.com, Mobyko and Q4 Technologies. Gerel has a deep understanding of reputation management, marketing, social media communities and influencers, as well as word of mouth communication all in the context of digital media. She graduated from London Metropolitan University and currently works as Corparate Communications and Digital PR manager for XacBank in Mongolia.

Bilebaatar has been working as a CEO of Hasu Holding LLC since 2009. He also acts as the Foreign Affairs Director of Megawatt. Mr. Zunduiosor has earned his Economics degree from Portland State University and has been involved in the energy sector of Mongolia. He is a member of Mongolian Rugby Association.

Joe Flasher is a freelance software developer from Boulder, Colorado currently living in Ulaanbaatar. He has been involved in several large scale and small scale development projects previously and is thrilled to bring that knowledge to the Startup Weekend community. Coming from a town that has a vibrant startup community and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, Joe is excited to try and foster such an atmosphere in Ulaanbaatar. Joe is currently the head of Ars Sollertia, a small independent development company.

Terrence Edwards is an American journalist based in Ulaanbaatar. Edwards first arrived in Mongolia in June 2009 to serve as a U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer to serve 27 months of service in Uyanga Soum, Uvurkhangai Aimag. After completing his service in 2009, Edwards opted to use his experience in Mongolia as a jumping point to embark on a career as a foreign journalist reporting on Mongolia.

Edwards is currently English editor to Mongolian Economy magazine, the editor-in-chief to the Business Council of Mongolia’s NewsWire weekly news aggregate, and a reporter for Thomson Reuters.
